I have been a GM employee for 23 years now and of course, buys only GM cars. I bought my Chevy Camaro in 1999. It is the best GM car ever and I've owned a few. With 165,000 miles, it still sounds like it did the day I bought it. So, why would they discontinue this beautiful machine? I'm sure it was because of some beauracratic BS. Anywho!!! When and if GM decides to put it in production, and I pray they will, the line forms behind me!!!!

I participated in a previous version of Rev It Up two years ago and had a blast. Well-run event, and lots of cars to drive and several different courses to practice on (with instruction by pro racers) before running in the actual timed competition. First prize on the autocross course is a new car! The first event of the series is this weekend in Los Angeles, which I'll be at.

I talked to some of the instructors last time and was told that the company behind this event was founded by none other than Jim Wangers, who is widely known as one of the fathers of the original Pontiac GTO, and is a living legend among true muscle car fans. Jim is prominently mentioned on the old "Bring back the GTO!" site here:

The GTO was brought back from the past, now we need the new Camaro!
