The new design went live today around 2:00pm Central time. Our new format leverages the “group” photos from our community on flickr. The home page can prominently display the latest images that our users have posted to the camaro.com group, and soon we will add a “search” feature that lets you narrow the results down to a particular year, model, or engine.
You can see the new design at:

You can join our community at flickr and post your photos:

We recently set up a “group” on the photo-sharing site flickr (www.flickr.com).
This group is a place where our users can post their Camaro photographs and comments. We are hoping that users will also “tag” their images with the year, model, and engine of their car. This will eventually be used to allow visitors to search for the photos they want to see. For example, a user may search for “1969 Z28 302″ and only those car photos would be displayed. A detailed description of the car can also be added to each photo so that people can learn who owns the car, and any special information the owner wants to share about their vehicle.
The camaro.com flickr group can be found at

In the interest of making camaro.com a better site for displaying user’s Camaro pictures, we have been hard at work developing a new format for the web site. The new design will strive to include photos & comments submitted by users, as well as helpful information about Camaros old and new. Look for the new site to launch around the first of the year!
