After beating Ric Fleck in the Pro Mod Blown final, Todd Tutterow took his ‘68 Camaro to the overall winner’s circle Apr. 28, beating Pro Mod Nitrous winner Chris Rini far lane in the King of the Hill finale at Carolina Dragway. Tutterow ran 3.81 at 191.27 to beat Rini’s 3.89 at 189.15 pass and pocket the lion’s share of the $50,000 total purse.

No. 3 qualifier Danny Rowe earned his first NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by ProCare Rx victory of the 2012 season Sunday at the OReilly Auto Parts NHRA Spring Nationals at Royal Purple Raceway.
Rowe’s Sterling Bridge ’68 Chevy Camaro powered to a winning performance of 5.969 seconds at 244.43 mph in the final round of eliminations to beat Kenny Lang’s pass of 6.043 seconds at 238.51 mph
Summit Racing drivers Greg Anderson and Jason Line will reveal the radically new paint schemes for their forthcoming Summit Racing Pro Stock Camaros this weekend as they take advantage of an open spot in the 2012 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series schedule to head to their sponsor’s McDonough, Ga., location for today’s Super Summit 2012. Anderson and Line will sign autographs and spend time with the fans at the one-day open house that also features some of the finest custom cars and hot rods as well as a manufacturers’ midway with more than 100 vendors expected.
