After some subtle teasing, GM actually unveiled the 2014 Camaro SS on Live with Kelly & Michael instead of at the New York Auto Show. Granted, the SS did make its way to the show, but it was overshadowed by the unveiling of the all-new Z/28.
The updates to the Camaro SS are very limited, but nonetheless important. On the outside, you get a revised front fascia with a wider lower grille to allow for extra engine cooling and better aerodynamics, wider headlight lenses for an almost squinted look, and a functional hood scoop to that helps reduce lift at high speeds.
Around the backside, the rear spoiler has been revised to look more wing-like, the taillights are fully revised into more of a one-piece design and the rear bumper insert it slightly more pronounced in the 2014 model year. This, minus the taillights of course, helps to reduce the drag on the backside.
