You Rank It! 1967 Gulf Camaro
Another one of the contenders at our first Flog Day, this 1967 Camaro went through the paces at the drag strip, autocross, and dyno. There will be a complete feature with all of the data and our impressions in the June issue of HOT ROD. It’s not often that HOT ROD features pure breed racecars, but this is just that. Working lights, carpet, and creature comforts is just added weight. Built by Milt Burleson with a lot of help from Paul Caselas, General Manager of Goodies Speed Shop in San Jose, California. It’s powered by a dry-sump 308ci GM Iron block SCCA rules called for 310ci and under topped with Pro-1 200cc aluminum heads worked over by Ron’s Porting Service in St. Charles, Missouri.
