NASCAR owner drives Camaro off Oshawa GM line

Rick Hendrick added to his car collection on Wednesday.The owner of four NASCAR teams was in Oshawa to drive a Camaro ZL1 off the line. Mr. Hendrick bought three versions of the latest Camaro while at the assembly plant.“I don’t think I was ever this excited at Christmas growing up,” Mr. Hendrick said.   He’s the first owner of the new version of the Camaro. He was also the first owner of the Camaro Coupe and the Camaro convertible.GM Canada president Kevin Williams said, “This is an exciting day for all of us at General Motors and General Motors Canada.”
