When Chevrolet revealed the upcoming Camaro ZL1 and announced that it would pack the same beastly LSA V8 found under the hood of several CTS-V performance models, no one was complaining about a lack of power.
No matter, Chevy decided to up the ante and tune the engine for a bit more than the measly 568 horsepower typically produced from the 6.2-liter LSA V8. Instead, according to LSXTV, the ZL1 will crank out something slightly north of 570 horsepower – coinciding with an earlier report in mid-June by Leftlane that confirmed the ZL1′s horsepower would surpass that of the CTS-V.
Could Chevrolet’s upcoming Camaro ZL1 pack more than 570 horsepower?.
